Ritte Fit / Purchase Workflow

Ritte Fit / Purchase Workflow

Most most bike manufacturers follow the following industry "rules" for bike fit and spec:

56s come with 172.5mm cranks and 110mm stems.

52s come with 170mm cranks and 90mm stems.

Everything gets a 42cm handlebar.

All bikes, shipped worldwide, come with the same 52/36 rings and 11-30 cassette.

That’s the law, the decree of big bike. Or at least it has been.

We do things a little differently at Ritte. We believe you’re buying a bike for a reason that goes beyond pretty paint or a great value. You’re buying something that you trust, something that offers a form of self expression, something that will make every ride better.

The fit that works best for you may be different than what a large brand has deemed “standard.” And we’re not throwing shade at any large brands, it’s incredibly difficult to be a product manager speccing one product to work globally. But a more nimble approach like ours means we can work with you on the fit to dial in the right handlebar, stem, seatpost, and saddle as well as crank length and gearing before we assemble your bike. Because it’s your bike, not just a bike.

The component and gearing spec that works for us here in Los Angeles or a rider in the Alps may be different than what works for you in the Netherlands or a rider in Ohio. So we can work with you to figure out what that ideal is and make sure you’re getting everything setup correctly right out of the box. There’s no reason to have to buy extra cranks or cassettes on a high end road or gravel bike!

Our approach is individual - every build is a pro-build from the frame up for your specs. We offer a full fit consultation on every bike (and we guarantee our fit or we’ll make it right / swap any parts needed to get it right) and have a parts catalog that runs very deep - be it a saddle, wheelset, or even small parts like pedals or a special bar tape, we are happy to accommodate.

We follow up, individually, to every build. If you’ve placed an order with us, we’ve probably spoken about your selected options just to make sure everything is as you intended. If you know exactly what you want or need it’s all selectable on our build configurators. If you’re not sure what you need for sizing, just shoot us an email and we’ll work with you to get it worked out.
