FAQs
CAN I GET A DIFFERENT BAR & STEM?
The Esprit supports not only the OTHR Integrated Barstem but any traditional round bar and stem setup. For custom builds, we offer just about anything you’d like, although lead times can vary.
CAN I GET DIFFERENT WHEELS?
We offer wheels from Enve and OTHR that we believe to be the best in the business. We can accommodate different options through our custom build process - though lead times for some other options can vary.
WHY DO YOU ONLY OFFER ELECTRONIC GROUPSETS?
All modern road groupsets have gone electronic - to optimize for the most current technology, we’ve decided to fully embrace electronic shifting.
WHY DO YOU ONLY HAVE 160MM BRAKE ROTORS?
For the best, most predictable brake feel and longest pad-life, we’ve gone with 160mm rotors front and rear on all builds.
CAN I GET AN EXTRA DERAILLEUR HANGER?
We chose to design for the SRAM UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) because replacement hangers are easily available globally in bike shops or online. Gone are the days of having to hunt for obscure replacement hangers.
WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE IF I CHANGE MY FORK RAKE WITH ONE OF THE “FLIP CHIPS”?
Great question, and one deserving more explanation. Click here for a larger discussion on geometry and handling, including why we use different fork rakes for different frame sizes. The short answer is your frame will come with the correct offset insert, and that is the one we recommend sticking with.
WHAT ARE MY POWER METER OPTIONS?
For SRAM builds, we offer QUARQ-integrated power meters as an add-on option. For Shimano builds, we offer Stages power meters as an add-on option. You can select these from the drop-down menus.

PRESS REVIEWS
“I’ll be honest: there’s a heck of a lot to like about the Esprit—Wonderfully lively ride feel, competitively light, sharp looks, a good range of customization options, surprisingly impressive house-brand wheels.”
"Without question, the Ritte Esprit was a great bike to ride: quick and eager, remarkably comfortable, competitively light, decently versatile, clean and good-looking, and with a bit of small-brand cachet you won’t get from a bigger label."
—James Huang, Escape Collective
"I've found the esprit to be, in almost all situations, a quietly encouraging bike. There is no doubt it can go faster than I am capable of, but it doesn't beat me about the head and shoulders over it. Instead, the esprit seems to very calmly say, "Hey, man, if you feel like going up a gear or maybe spinning 5 or 10 rpm quicker, that'd be kinda fun. But if you're not feeling it, that's cool, too."
"Until you point it downhill. Then, then, that calm, chill demeanor gets replaced by something altogether different. At that point the esprit turns into a hard charging, rapidly accelerating, wide eyed and bushy tailed hound that's been let loose after that cocky neighborhood squirrel. It's gonna go as fast as it can and your laid back approach to the ride had better be adjusted accordingly."
—Erik Mathy, Cycling Journalist, California

We built the Esprit to be light where it counts - quick on its feet, efficient on climbs. Yet stiff where it matters - sudden sprints, precise and unshakeable handling.
The Esprit frame weighs in under 800g in a size Medium. It’s light, of course - but more importantly it’s confidence inspiring, dependable, and has a smooth ride that’s all too rare in fast road bikes.
- Optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio
- Stable and agile geometry
- Hi-modulus carbon where it counts

Every frame size gets its own distinct geometry and construction. With details like variable fork offsets, chainstay lengths, and bottom bracket drop per size. We’ve made sure that regardless of which size fits you best, the Esprit’s confident and composed handling is consistent for you.
- Tom Kellogg designed rider-first geometry
- No compromises in handling across sizes
- Variable fork offsets
